Urban Shop UKRunnings Mixtape - Review

Just in case you dont see One Week To Live here's a review of The Urban Shop / UKRunnings mixtape. Dont forget if you want a copy all you have to do is Buy clothing from Sturabn Clothing from either Ambiguous, Fly53, Mada or Planet Earth

Never one to miss an opportunity, Tricksta takes his long-running UK Runnings mixtape movement into the clothing sector. Manning the ones and twos on this occasion has the Wolftown commander rocking the freshest beats with the nattiest threads in association with Sturban Clothing. Aristocrats in street and skate apparel, the online retailer and Channel U chart sponsor is the source for all the garments and gear that turns heads. Think Fly53, Mada, Planet Earth, Ambiguous, Fenchurch, Addict and all that good stuff for those wanting to pop their collar and some such in the dandiest clobber going.

One Week to Live review by Matt Oliver
Anyway, enough of the plugging, onto the music. Anyone who’s copped a Tricksta tape will know what to expect and what has made his mix installments a long running success. And seeing as he’s not gonna fix a formula that ain’t broken, he pairs his Wolftown handpicks (the ever able 10Shott, Conman, Late and Jai Boo) with a heavy UK squad including Blak Twang, Ty, The Sundragon, The Blacknificent Seven, Doc Brown and Supar Novar. In between, Tricks’ mixtape faves such as Yogi, Swift It Major, TB and Reload represent, and Big Cakes looks to cook up beef with Ronald McDonald and Colonel Sanders. Bonus Urban Shop exclusives and freestyles come from The Devius, Kid Radical and Double E, who pays more attention than most to the job in hand by putting The Urban Shop into rhyme (never a bad tactic to try and blag some free threads). Really exercising his authority, Tricks gets his fingers dusty and drops a cheeky reggae set, bringing out some classic duck and dive from U Roy and Isreal Vibration. Business as usual from the Black Country ruler
