Methods NYC Fall Party

MethodsNYC are too damn cool for their own good and now they are just rubbing our noses in it check this out it's massive and for the first time in my life I wish I were in NY for one night.

Summer is over and its time to celebrate the release of our Fall 07 Line which will be hitting The Urban Shop in late October. MethodsNYC are doing it bigger and better this time around, bringing you world-class talent to the newly renovated “Rebel NYC,” located 2 blocks from Madison Square Garden.

Afrika Bambaataa (Universal Zulu Nation) will be co-headlining with DJ HYPE (True Playaz/Ganja Crew) and MC Daddy Earl from the UK. Both of these men are true pioneers in their fields. Bam is the founder of Zulu Nation and is respectfully known as the Godfather of Hip Hop Culture and the Father of the Electro Funk Sound. This will be a night to remember, make sure you’re there to catch the set from the man that started it all.

DJ HYPE is one of the biggest Drum and Bass DJ’s in the World. He was winning DMC Competitions back in the late 80’s. Over the last two decades, HYPE has won Best Male DJ and Best radio DJ awards and is one of the main attractions on the London Radio Station KISS 100. He has produced countless hit tracks and owned several successful record labels. Hype is currently touring North America with well-reputed MC Daddy Earl, know best for his releases on Ganja Records and Frontline Recordings. Do not miss this rare chance to see DJ HYPE in NYC!

This party will also be acting as an album release party for our good friend, Jeru The Damaja. Jeru’s highly anticipated album, “Still Rising,” will be dropping on Oct. 16th. Jeru will be performing his new tracks from the new album along with some of his classic gems. If you’ve seen Jeru at any of our previous release parties, you can imagine how big this performance is going to be.

Jahdan is internationally known for his work on the classics “Sound Bwoy Buriell” and “D&D Soundclash” as well as his features with Branford Marsalis, DJ Premier, Dead Prez and Bootcamp Clik. The intensity of Jahdan’s live set performance rivals some of the greatest entertainers in the game. His ability to stimulate crowds in any setting is truly a sight to behold. “Perhaps the ultimate example of the Brooklyn Hip Hop / Reggae Hybrid,” says the NY Press.

DJ Odi is one of New York City's original school jungle DJs. He was the first junglist accepted into the ZULU Nation. He got his start at the famous NYC party NASA in 1992 where he later became a resident and launched the Digital Konfusion crew. DJ Odi is a co founder of Legacy, NYC’s premiere monthly Drum & Bass event. Check for free give-aways of his latest release, “Oprock” on Main Course Media, co-produced by DJ Vandal, and remixed by Mathematics.

MethodsNYC also have a second floor of incredible talent including some of NYC’s best DJ’s. The entire club will be bumping hard all night. Check out MethodsNYC for details and tickets.
