Chris said, "I was looking to find more information on Scottish hip-hop but found it difficult to locate information on new releases, gigs and artists. Apart from the Scottish hip-hop forum there was not much else. This is when I thought about starting up a website that could remedy this problem. The aim was to build an online community for hip-hop in Scotland. A place where homegrown acts can showcase their talent and fans can get the latest gig information in Scotland." On April 1st 2006, was born.
