S2one launches on The Urban Shop

Personally I've been excited about this brand since the first time I spoke with the owner Lars, I don't think I'm taking things to far when I say that S2one is the most exciting, interesting and developed brand I've seen in years ad to that that this is their first season. S2one combines Chinese and Japanese culture with hip hop culture and produces a range of clothing using all over prints on quality fabrics, with attention to detail so acute that you once you have a piece of this clothing in your hands you will be a confirmed fan. Just check out the images.

BANKSY'S Bristol, Home Sweet Home

This book is a celebration of Banksy’s Bristol street art that puts him in the context of 3D, John Nation from the Barton Hill Settlement, Inkie, Nick Walker and the other artists and musicians who were instrumental in linking Bristol to the original New York hip hop scene.

It is the most revealing account written so far of Banksy’s formative years and contains more than 100 images of his Bristol art and pictures of Banksy at work which have never been published before.

Steve Wright traces Banksy’s roots back to the rave culture of the Nineties and draws a rounded picture of an artist who is most famous for being anonymous.

out december 07, pre orders from tangentbooks.com from november!

The Urban Shop Clothes Auctions

Some of you may have noticed that the clothes auctions have been slim on the ground and there is a reason for this – technical problems. There was an issue that the auctions were not reporting of informing auction winners, this stemmed from when we move to the new super fast server. Good news is it was all fixed yesterday and it’s now working, do forget you can pick up a bargain in the auctions, the start price is the minimum we will accept and auctions are never removed unless we sell out before they end, the price you see is the price you pay no extras for shipping and you are covered no our no quibble return policy, you cant loose oh yeah and unlike so auctions sites everything on there is genuine and clearly identified. As an added bonus we have bought in some Maharishi SnoPants which normally retail at around £110 we’ll be dropping them on starting at only £25 these are 100% in everyway only thing is we only have big sizes.

RVCA Artist Network Program - Matt Leines

Tiger-mask statuettes, Mexican dolls, Green Lantern Corps action figures overflow from the shelves of Matt Leines apartment. Matt Leines once sold his drawings on E-Bay for a couple of bucks, but today, Matt Leines drawings are bought off of gallery walls quicker than you can click “Buy It Now.”

As part of The RVCA Artist Network Program Matt Leines has done a couple of designs for the current art lead range. Personally I love his work kinda naive but intricate.
