Matix Lord Of The Lines comes to the The UK

The Matix Lord Of The Lines contest series makes the jump across the Atlantic and will take place September 13th in Castleford, UK with £1000 in prize money up for grabs. Here’s what Matix had to say about the event:

“Lord of the Lines introduces the new generation of skateboard competition. Using three street-influenced obstacles placed in a row, skaters have 10-minutes to create their best line. Style and execution play a huge part in the points with the top rider from each heat going through to the finals, where the best line will take home the cash. Matix are bringing the Lord of the Lines contest to the UK for the first time on Saturday 13th September. The stage is set for the Xscape Centre, Castleford ”

Who is Sid Stankovits?

Sid Stankovits grew up in Southern California, skating through out the 80's with good friend and fellow G&S rider Neil Blender. Sid calls his tattoo parlour in Santa Ana, California home, Sid can rightfully list Tokyo, Japan as his informal second home, as his international clientele has been building phenomenally over the past 15 years of tattooing and now you can have a Sid Stankovits on your chest as he’s hooked up with Matix clothing to do a few artist t-shirt designs for them and of course they are old school tattoo designs

There's a BIG problem with SturbanClothing

There is a BIG problem and have you spotted it?

There is so much good new product from core streetwear companies that it's painful having to choose take this week and we are only 3 days deep.

We have added new graffiti and graphic design t-shirt from the Holland based Razk collective. These new t-shirt designs are so rad and fresh that I would just buy the lot.

We have added Pyromaniac Clothing was the follow on from when two graffiti artist, Cantwo and Stickupkids had got together years previously and made their impact with Montana spray paint. Now years down the road they have collaborated with other graffiti wrotes such as Banos, Smash, Crone, Scotty and Kane to produce a clothing range of custom printed and made t-shirts, hoodies and long sleeve crews.

and

Nomis was formed around 2000 by two brothers Mat and Andre Chamberlain, they set Nomis up to give their snowboarding friends t-shirts, this led to hoodies but stayed local to Whistler. At the sametime their brother Simon was making a name for himself in snowboarding and had just been hooked up by Stepchild snowboards. By chance Simon was invited to the Nixon Jib Fest as a wild card, and turned up out of nowhere and won the contest, and you guessed it he was wearing a Nomis hoodie. Fame came to Simon and to Nomis over night and its grown season on season since then.

and the week isnt finished yet we have denim from Orisue coming, Rogue Status t-shirts and a big drop from Matix we should also get Fourstar back on site any day and I'm sure there's something I've missed......

I've remembered the DVS Diamond collaboration designs wooooooooooooow
